The hardest gunmetal for demanding sliding and bearing applications
CuSn10Zn2 is also known as RG10 and Promet 310. The alloy is the highest-tin and hardest of the gunmetals, withstanding seawater and offering good sliding properties. It is suited to bearings where peak loads reach 50 N/mm², ship propeller-shaft casings, sliding panels and guides, worm wheels, and clamping nuts.
