Lead-free gunmetal for sliding applications
CuSn7Zn3Ni2PS is a lead-free gunmetal known under the designations RG++ and CC471K. The alloy offers good dry-running properties, good wear and corrosion resistance, and good machinability. It is suited to machine-shop applications, sliding bearings and bushings as an environmentally friendly alternative to the leaded gunmetals.
