Very strong aluminium bronze for corrosive environments
CuAl10Fe5Ni5 is also known as Promet NiAp210 — in international standards the material appears under the designations JM7 and CC333G. The alloy is very strong and acid-resistant, with excellent fatigue strength even in corrosive conditions and good resistance to cavitation and erosion. Typical applications include machine components for the chemical, food-processing, oil and mining industries and shipbuilding, propellers, worm wheels, gear rims, superheated-steam fittings, sliding plates, and screws.
